Listening to the Local Community
In 2022 we held a community assembly at the Midlands Restoration Hub to hear what the local community felt the are needed from a restoration project.
Community Request
Food Production. Produce local, good food and create opportunities for everyone to get involved in eating and growing.
Education. Provide a place where people, including children, can learn and take part in restoration.
Demonstration. Create a site that can demonstrate what regeneration is possible, for nature and food systems.
Wellbeing. Integrate the wellbeing of the land with that of the community, providing space that is accessible for all.
